Infrastructure and projects
Projects create legal work long before a dispute reaches court.
We are building a projects capability around the commercial, procurement and dispute work that sits alongside South Africa’s infrastructure, construction and energy investment.

Our initial focus is on work adjacent to our existing commercial practice.
- Commercial and supplier agreements
- Construction and project-related contracts
- Procurement and tender issues
- Leases, access arrangements and property-related agreements
- Shareholder and joint-venture arrangements
- Payment, delay and performance disputes
- Arbitration and litigation
Where a project requires specialist project-finance, engineering, environmental or regulatory expertise beyond our scope, we believe in working with the appropriate specialists rather than overstating the firm’s role. The objective is to build this practice deliberately from strong commercial-law foundations.
Infrastructure and project work: practical questions
What type of project work can HS Inc assist with?
Our initial focus is on the commercial legal work around projects: contracts, procurement, property arrangements, payment and performance disputes, supplier relationships and dispute resolution.
Can you review project and supplier contracts?
Yes, where the agreement falls within our commercial practice. For a focused pre-signature review, see our Contract Review service. For ongoing oversight across multiple agreements, see Contract Management.
What if the project is already in dispute?
Provide the relevant contract, variations, payment records, notices and a chronology of the dispute. We can then assess the available commercial and dispute-resolution options and whether specialist counsel or technical experts should be involved.

Tell us about the project and your role in it.
This helps us identify whether the issue is primarily contractual, procurement-related, property-related or a developing dispute.
Submitting this form does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. We will first review the enquiry, complete any required conflict checks and contact you about the appropriate next step.
