Correspondent attorneys
Local execution. Clear reporting. One firm across two key regions.
Henk Scheepers Inc accepts selected correspondent instructions in Gauteng and the Western Cape, with offices in Vanderbijlpark and Cape Town.

Western Cape
We regularly deal with work connected to Cape Town, Bellville, Goodwood, Wynberg and other courts where the instruction is practical and economically sensible.
Gauteng / Vaal area
Our Vanderbijlpark office supports correspondent work in the Vaal area and related courts, subject to the nature and requirements of the instruction.
Typical instructions
- Issuing and filing court process
- Uplifting and re-filing court documents
- Warrants and sheriff-related process
- Selected court appearances
- Follow-ups with clerks and registrars
- Local procedural support for instructing firms
We value repeat relationships with instructing firms and aim to provide practical updates so that the correspondent function reduces, rather than adds to, the administrative burden on the instructing attorney.
Correspondent instructions: practical questions
What should an instructing attorney send?
Please provide the firm reference, matter name, relevant court or sheriff area, the action required, the deadline and the documents needed to carry out the instruction. Clear written instructions reduce unnecessary correspondence and delay.
Do you accept repeat correspondent mandates?
Yes, subject to the nature and economics of the work. Repeat relationships are particularly useful where the same instructing firm regularly requires filing, sheriff, court or local procedural support.
Do you also assist with conveyancing signatures?
Yes. Conveyancers who need a seller or purchaser to sign documents locally can use our dedicated Conveyancing Signing Attorney service.

Send us a correspondent instruction.
Provide the court, deadline and firm reference so we can quickly confirm whether we can accept and execute the instruction.
Submitting this form does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. We will first review the enquiry, complete any required conflict checks and contact you about the appropriate next step.
